did you taste your dance?

Smile and enjoy every taste of the dance with your partner.

Do you remember how your last meal tasted? I am not sure that you do.

Were you actually tasting your food or did you taste the day’s worries?

While drinking that cup of water, were you actually drinking water or gulping down your bills?

When listening to friends, co-workers or loved ones, are you hearing them or are you hearing your opinion about what they are saying?

We should try to experience everything that we do.

On the dance floor, we should ask ourselves, “who am I dancing with?”. It’s very easy to have an entire dance with our insecurities, anxieties or even the crowd. But you are not in the closed position with the crowd, so why do they deserve a dance with you?

Ladies, we should be aware of who we are dancing with. I think very few follows actually are. They are not really dancing with you, they are dancing with what they learned in class, dancing with their guesses, and dancing with what other people think about them.  Please don’t forget to taste your dance.

Men, are we dancing with our ladies, or doing turn patterns with our egos? Please stop and taste your dance.

Inside of you there is a dancer/writer/poet/friend that is creative, fresh and dynamic. BUT YOUR MIND TALKS TOO LOUD AND TOO MUCH TO EXPERIENCE IT SOMETIMES.

So when you eat, try to taste your food. When you listen, try to hear your friend. And when you dance, make sure you are dancing only with the person who is touching you.
